MECHANICAL SEAL REFURBISHMENT
At SAS, we have one of the most advanced service centers in Argentina, equipped with cutting-edge technology that allows us to repair and refurbish mechanical seals of any brand and model, regardless of their origin or application.
Our highly trained staff ensures a reliable, efficient, and high-quality service. We work with an international network of suppliers to source materials such as silicon carbide, graphite, tungsten carbide, and various elastomer compounds, all with certified quality and traceability.
Each refurbished seal undergoes a rigorous quality control process, including inspections at every stage and a final pneumatic test under API 682 standards, ensuring performance equivalent to that of a new seal.
We also offer comprehensive refurbishment of API auxiliary systems, providing a complete solution for industrial sealing maintenance.

MECHANICAL SEAL INSTALLATION
At SAS, we provide installation services for both new and refurbished mechanical seals, either on-site or at auxiliary workshops, according to customer needs.
We also carry out installations at manufacturers' or equipment suppliers' workshops, ensuring that assembly meets technical specifications and best practices in mechanical sealing.
Our technical team has the expertise and necessary tools to guarantee a precise, reliable, and safe installation, minimizing downtime.
We handle scheduled interventions as well as emergency responses 24/7.

PLANT SHUTDOWN SUPPORT
​At SAS, we provide technical support throughout all stages of a plant shutdown, ensuring proper intervention in sealing systems and preventing issues during startup.
We understand that these moments are critical, which is why our presence helps anticipate and correct recurring failures (“bad actors”).
Additionally, we promote periodic assistance outside of shutdowns, as a best practice to detect early deviations and enhance system reliability.

ON-SITE ASSESSMENT
We offer technical on-site assessments to identify repetitive failures (“bad actors”) and propose corrective actions aimed at improving MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) in rotating equipment.
Each assessment includes a comprehensive technical report, detailing diagnostics, operational history, and specific recommendations.
As a complementary service, we conduct predictive monitoring using:
- Infrared thermography
- Vibration trend measurements
- Environmental plan evaluations
This data allows us to anticipate failures and plan maintenance with greater efficiency.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMP REPAIR
At SAS, we perform comprehensive repair of process centrifugal pumps, following the same high-quality standards applied to mechanical seal refurbishment.
We have our own workshop and access to specialized workshops of our partner companies, allowing us to handle everything from diagnostics to final performance testing, according to each client's needs.
